Each day we pick up the paper, only to read that there will be another 20 percent increase in our electricity bills, prices of food going up, new taxes being generated on just about everything we consume. People shrug their shoulders and say "What can I do ? I'm just one person"The unfortunate truth is, our politicians know this and usually only listen and pander to the voters when they come up for re-election. Blocks of voters talking as one have a huge impact on the way our government listens. This is why there are so many paid lobbyists in government today. It is a way to get things done. Our leaders are mostly good people with well intentioned ideas but go awry because of the current system. In order to make change we must act and work as a cohesive group. As we go along, our association will build alliances with like minded people who share the same ideas. We will act as a vocal think tank, but we will use our membership to push our ideals and principles toward relevancy with local and state leaders. Local business leaders will be used to point out how their activities are affected with taxes and spending to show a relationship. As a organization we will push for educated and informed changes,,," not as one but as a group"
